with you!

Each year, the KIDS Foundation has a team of 30+ triathletes participate in the Noosa Triathlon and raise funds that enable us to continue to support people living with life-changing trauma, injuries and burns and educate young people to be injury-free.

 

The Noosa Tri is not only the biggest triathlon in the Southern Hemisphere, but the biggest annual fundraising event for KIDS each year. Due to the Coronavirus, it has been cancelled leaving lots of amazing people looking for ways to continue their support and an opportunity for the Foundation to run something fun in a COVID-safe way.

SUNDAY 1 NOVEMBER

Start Time - 7am (will take around 3 hours)

EVENT FORMAT

You will receive a zoom link to access the event.. keep an eye out for emails and be sure to check you spam

 

SWIM LEG

Hot Temple will run a hands-on weights and body weight session that mimics 30mins of swimming 

 

RIDE LEG

We can’t quite bring the lush Noosa hinterland to life, participants will get a taste for it in the 40km out and back course. Hot Temple instructors will ride the Noosa triathlon course virtually. Set up on the bike at home, the course rolls out in front of participants.

 

RUN LEG

The last leg is the 10km run leg. Hot Temple instructors will send runners out to take on their own 10km run circuit, encouraging them to take a snap as they leave and return.

REGISTRATION:

$30 donation - 100% of this fee will be donated to by Hot Temple to the KIDS Foundation

If you don’t have weights, be creative and use milk bottles filled with water, tins, small child or groceries…

Things to Consider...

Be sure to plan your 10km route before you leave home, so you know where you are going. Be sure to stick to paths, parks and off-road locations. DO NOT run/walk on roads. Take your mobile phone in case of emergency and enjoy your run, take some photos to share them with us.
